Refrigerator Repair in Mountlake Terrace, WA

We’re LG Factory Authorized and Samsung Authorized for refrigerator repair — and we’re based right here in Mountlake Terrace at 6302 St Albion Way. For Mountlake Terrace homeowners with an LG or Samsung refrigerator that’s stopped working, this combination means the fastest response in the region combined with the highest level of manufacturer-certified diagnosis.

LG linear compressor failure is the dominant refrigerator call from Mountlake Terrace’s established residential streets — 58th Ave W, 56th Ave W, 222nd and 228th Street SW, and the cross streets throughout the residential core. The kitchen renovation wave of 2013-2019 put LG French door refrigerators in a significant share of Mountlake Terrace’s updated homes. Those machines are now 7-13 years old. The linear compressor design that LG used across the entire 2012-2020 production period fails in this age range in a consistent pattern: the refrigerator runs normally for years, then loses cooling completely and suddenly. We diagnose this accurately as LG Factory Authorized technicians, give a fixed quote, and provide honest guidance on repair versus replacement based on the unit’s specific age and model.

LG Factory Authorized Refrigerator Repair — Mountlake Terrace

LG Factory Authorized status matters for three specific reasons. First, our diagnosis is accurate because we’re trained on LG’s specific compressor architecture, refrigeration systems, and fault indicators — not applying a generic approach. Second, for LG refrigerators still under LG’s warranty (which can extend to 5 years on certain components), our authorized status means the repair may be covered at no charge to you. Third, our parts knowledge is current — we know which LG parts are updated from the original design and which are equivalent. Call us with your LG model and serial number before scheduling; we’ll verify warranty status before the visit.

Beyond compressor failure, LG refrigerators in Mountlake Terrace develop ice maker failures — arm mechanical failure and module failure — and control board issues in older units. We carry LG-specific diagnostic capability and LG parts for the most common failures, with a fixed quote before we order anything.

Samsung Authorized Refrigerator Repair — Mountlake Terrace

Samsung refrigerators in Mountlake Terrace most commonly develop ice maker module failure — the ice maker stops producing ice while the refrigerator continues cooling normally. Samsung modules cost $150-$200 or more depending on the specific model; we tell you the exact cost before ordering. Samsung dual-evaporator refrigerators from 2017 onward have specific cooling compartment issues in the 5-10 year range — inconsistent temperatures between compartments, ice maker chamber freezing over — that require knowing how Samsung’s dual-evaporator system is designed. Our Samsung Authorized training covers this.

For Samsung refrigerators still under Samsung’s warranty, our authorized status means the repair may be covered. Call us with your model and serial number — we’ll check coverage before scheduling a paid service call.

Kenmore Refrigerator Repair — Mountlake Terrace

Kenmore is a store brand manufactured by various OEMs. The actual design, diagnostic approach, and parts depend entirely on which manufacturer made your specific Kenmore. We identify this from the model number prefix. The majority of Kenmore refrigerators in Mountlake Terrace’s 1960s-70s construction homes are Whirlpool-manufactured — and many of the repairs are exactly what you’d hope for in a machine that’s been running for decades: a $15 start relay, a defrost timer, a door gasket. These are inexpensive, fast, and keep a sound machine running for years more. We give honest condition assessments alongside every Kenmore repair recommendation — a 28-year-old refrigerator that needs a $15 start relay is a completely different situation from a 28-year-old one that needs a compressor.

Sub-Zero and KitchenAid — Premium Properties

Some of Mountlake Terrace’s fully renovated properties near the 56th Ave W corridor and on the larger western lots approaching the Edmonds boundary have Sub-Zero built-in refrigerators and KitchenAid built-in units. Sub-Zero’s dual-compressor sealed system design requires brand-specific service knowledge distinct from standard refrigerators. KitchenAid dual-evaporator refrigerators have their own specific failure patterns in their ice maker and cooling compartment design. We service both with the brand knowledge they require.

Builder-Grade Refrigerators — 236th Street New Development

The new apartment and mixed-use buildings going up around the 236th Street SW light rail station have builder-grade Frigidaire, GE, and Whirlpool refrigerators installed in 2022-2025. These are new machines but they’re not premium machines — and high-turnover tenancy means they get less care than owner-occupied appliances. Early failures from installation errors, door gasket mold in units that sat closed between tenancies, and ice maker arm failures in Frigidaire units appear from these newer 236th Street addresses. Property managers in these buildings call us regularly. We give property managers and building owners the same honest assessment as any residential client — fixed quote, transparent parts cost, honest guidance on whether repair makes sense for the unit and the machine.

Condenser Cleaning — Every Mountlake Terrace Refrigerator Call

Before diagnosing internal failures on any Mountlake Terrace refrigerator that runs but doesn’t cool adequately, we check and clean the condenser coil. This is the most commonly skipped step in a rushed refrigerator diagnosis, and it resolves a meaningful number of cooling complaints without any part replacement. Mountlake Terrace’s condenser coils in apartment buildings — particularly those in the apartment corridors along Van Ry Blvd and Cedar Way — accumulate household dust and lint from the laundry in adjacent units at a higher rate than single-family homes. We clean the condenser on every service call.

Call us. We’re LG Factory Authorized and based right here in Mountlake Terrace. If it’s a 2012-2020 LG French door that lost cooling completely and suddenly, linear compressor failure is the most likely cause. What does LG Factory Authorized mean for my repair?

We’re trained and certified directly by LG to service their refrigerators. Do you repair Kenmore refrigerators in Mountlake Terrace?

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
