HVAC Repair, Installation & Maintenance in Spokane Valley, WA

Whether your furnace stopped working on a below-zero Spokane Valley night, your AC failed during a 100°F+ Eastern Washington summer, or you need a full heat pump or mini-split installation — Adam & Sam Brothers Repair is ready to help. We provide complete HVAC services throughout Spokane Valley and surrounding communities including Liberty Lake, Greenacres, Otis Orchards, Millwood, and Veradale. Repair, installation, replacement, and scheduled maintenance — all with a fixed quote and no hidden fees.

Spokane Valley’s continental climate is one of the most demanding HVAC environments in Washington State. Temperature swings from well below zero in winter to over 100°F in summer push heating and cooling systems harder than anywhere on the Washington coast. Modern HVAC equipment running on R-454B refrigerant is highly efficient and very quiet — but parts are significantly more expensive than on older systems. A variable-speed blower motor on a new high-efficiency furnace or AC can cost $450 or more, compared to $100 on older units. We give you honest repair vs replacement assessments based on real part costs — not estimates designed to push you toward the most expensive option.

HVAC Permits in Spokane Valley — Simpler Than You Might Expect

One significant advantage of HVAC installation and replacement in Spokane Valley compared to the City of Spokane is the permitting process. The City of Spokane Valley handles mechanical permits through a streamlined online portal at the Permit Center on 10210 E. Sprague Avenue. For most residential HVAC replacements — furnace changeout, AC replacement, heat pump installation — the permit process is straightforward and processed quickly. Applications can be submitted online through the Spokane Valley SmartGov portal, by email to permitcenter@spokanevalley.org, or in person. Our licensed technicians handle all permit applications and inspection scheduling on your behalf — you do not need to deal with the permit office at all.

For like-for-like equipment replacements in Spokane Valley, permits are typically processed faster than new installations requiring plan review. This means less scheduling delay between approval and installation for most residential HVAC projects throughout Spokane Valley.

HVAC Services We Provide in Spokane Valley

Repair — same-day diagnosis and repair for furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-split systems. Fixed quote before we start. Most common parts in stock for same-day completion in Spokane Valley.

Installation & Replacement — full HVAC system installation for new construction and replacement of aging systems throughout Spokane Valley. We handle permitting through the City of Spokane Valley Permit Center and coordinate all inspections.

Maintenance & Tune-Up — seasonal maintenance is critical in Spokane Valley’s extreme climate. Pre-season furnace tune-up before winter and AC check before summer prevent the emergency breakdowns that happen at the worst possible times. We offer scheduled maintenance programs for Spokane Valley homeowners.

Mini-Split Systems — ductless mini-split installation and repair for single-zone and multi-zone applications. We recommend only brands with established parts availability — not Amazon no-name systems that become impossible to repair.

ERV & HRV Fresh Air Systems — energy and heat recovery ventilators for healthy indoor air quality in Spokane Valley’s tightly sealed modern homes.

Contractor Pricing on Equipment — Often Cheaper Than Buying Direct

Many Spokane Valley homeowners consider buying HVAC equipment through sites like HVAC Direct and hiring us for installation only. In most cases this ends up costing more, not less. We hold contractor accounts with distributors including Ferguson and HVAC Direct at wholesale pricing below what homeowners see online. A Goodman unit listed at $2,000 retail may cost us $1,300 — we can sell and install it for less than you would pay buying retail, and handle delivery, warranty registration, and warranty claims through our contractor account. Call us first — we will show you the actual numbers.

They came to fix our A/C. They accurately diagnosed and repaired our air-conditioning in less than an hour. He even cleaned the inside of the A/C and made sure no mess was left behind. Very polite and professional.

He was able to come same day and gave us an hour window instead of 4 or 6 like other shops. He was clean, kind, professional, and very fast. He had all the parts and we are very satisfied.

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
