Appliance Repair in Nine Mile Falls & Northwest Spokane

Nine Mile Falls sits nine miles northwest of downtown Spokane along the Spokane River on State Route 291 — an unincorporated community named after a waterfall that existed until 1908 when the Nine Mile Dam was built. Today that dam creates Long Lake, also called Lake Spokane, and the waterfront properties along Long Lake Drive are some of the most desirable addresses in the greater Spokane area. The broader Nine Mile Falls ZIP 99026 stretches across Spokane and Stevens counties along the river corridor, covering a mix of rural properties, newer subdivisions, and the lakefront homes that draw buyers specifically for the waterfront access and the Riverside State Park trail system.

Northwest Spokane — ZIP 99208 — covers the suburban communities that fill the gap between downtown Spokane and Nine Mile Falls: Wandermere with its golf course and growing restaurant corridor, Northpointe with its dense family residential development, Indian Trail, Five Mile Prairie, and the Seven Mile area where the Spokane River Centennial Trail’s western trailhead begins at Sontag Park. The Northtown Mall anchors retail for the entire northwest corridor. We serve both ZIP 99026 and ZIP 99208 — the rural-to-suburban spectrum that runs from Long Lake Drive’s waterfront to Wandermere’s neighborhood streets.

Nine Mile Falls — Long Lake Waterfront and Rural Properties

Long Lake Drive and the waterfront properties on Lake Spokane have a specific appliance profile — lakeside homes where freshwater proximity adds an ambient humidity layer, and where rural self-reliance means homeowners often attempt repairs themselves before calling. We respect that. When we do get called from Long Lake addresses, the problems have sometimes progressed further than they would have in a Spokane suburb where the first symptom prompts a call. We assess what’s happened and what’s repairable versus what’s past the point of economic repair, and we give that assessment honestly.

Hard water is universal throughout Nine Mile Falls. Spokane County groundwater at 218 PPM builds calcium scale in ice maker fill tubes, dishwasher spray arms, and washing machine inlet valves at the same rate as in Deer Park and the rest of Spokane County north of the city. Waterfront Long Lake properties on well water may face even higher mineral content depending on the specific aquifer. We assess water-related damage on every Nine Mile Falls appliance call.

Northwest Spokane — Wandermere, Northpointe, Indian Trail

Wandermere is the commercial anchor for northwest Spokane — Wandermere Golf Course, Downriver Grill, Flying Goat Pizza, Dos Gordos Mexican restaurant, and the growing north Spokane retail corridor that feeds from the Northtown Mall area. Residential Wandermere is dense single-family suburban development from the 1990s through 2010s, with the renovation-era Samsung and LG appliances now entering peak failure range. Northpointe and Indian Trail to the north are even newer — 2000s-2020s construction with current-generation appliances on Spokane’s hard water. Five Mile Prairie on the high ground southwest of Nine Mile Falls has established larger-lot homes from the 1980s-2000s.

The 99208 residential profile generates LG and Samsung compressor and drain pump failures, Bosch dishwasher errors from hard water scale, and the full range of age-related mechanical repairs we see across northwest Spokane County. Hard water is the consistent underlying factor across all of 99208 just as in 99026.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you serve both Nine Mile Falls 99026 and Northwest Spokane 99208?

Yes — ZIP 99026 including Nine Mile Falls, Long Lake waterfront properties, and the rural corridor along SR-291; and ZIP 99208 including Wandermere, Northpointe, Indian Trail, Five Mile Prairie, and Seven Mile. We’re based in Spokane and cover the full northwest corridor.

Does hard water affect appliances in Nine Mile Falls and Northwest Spokane?

Yes — significantly. Spokane County groundwater averages 218 PPM dissolved minerals. This builds calcium scale in ice maker fill tubes, dishwasher spray arms, and washing machine inlet valves within 2-4 years without a water softener. Long Lake area well properties may have even higher mineral content. We assess hard water damage on every service call.

They came to fix our A/C. They accurately diagnosed and repaired our air-conditioning in less than an hour. He even cleaned the inside of the A/C and made sure no mess was left behind. Very polite and professional.

He was able to come same day and gave us an hour window instead of 4 or 6 like other shops. He was clean, kind, professional, and very fast. He had all the parts and we are very satisfied.

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
