Appliance Repair in Kennewick, WA

Kennewick is the largest city in the Tri-Cities and the commercial center of southeastern Washington. With a population approaching 87,000 across 18 neighborhoods — from the upscale homes of Canyon Lakes near the golf course and 27th Avenue shopping, to the growing Southridge gateway area, the established midcentury neighborhoods of Metaline near Columbia Park, the waterfront pocket community of Bridge to Bridge near downtown, and the fast-developing Vista Field corridor — Kennewick is a city with a wide range of homes, appliance brands, and service needs. Adam & Sam Brothers Repair provides professional appliance repair throughout all of Kennewick with same-day service, a fixed quote, and no hidden fees. Our technician is based on N Columbia Center Blvd — at the heart of Kennewick’s main commercial spine, steps from Columbia Center Mall and familiar with every neighborhood from West Clearwater Ave to Southridge Boulevard.

Kennewick shares the Columbia Basin’s demanding climate with its Tri-Cities neighbors — summers that regularly push past 105°F, fine agricultural dust from the surrounding Benton County farming operations and the expansive wine country that has made this region one of Washington’s premier viticulture areas, and winters cold enough to stress appliances in the opposite direction. The Columbia River runs along Kennewick’s northern edge, providing the city’s water supply through a treatment process that produces water significantly softer than the hard aquifer water in communities to the east. This means Kennewick appliance problems are driven primarily by heat stress, dust accumulation, and mechanical wear — not the calcium scale damage that dominates service calls in Spokane Valley.

We service all major appliance brands throughout Kennewick including Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, KitchenAid, Maytag, Frigidaire, Electrolux, Sub-Zero, Bosch, Kenmore, and many others.

Kennewick’s Neighborhoods — What We See in Each Area

Canyon Lakes and South Kennewick. The Canyon Lakes neighborhood — anchored by the Canyon Lakes Golf Course and bordered by 27th Avenue’s extensive shopping and restaurant corridor — is one of Kennewick’s most established and desirable residential areas. Homes here tend to be larger, older, and often equipped with higher-end appliances including Sub-Zero refrigerators, KitchenAid ranges, and Bosch dishwashers. Older appliances in Canyon Lakes are reliable but aging — and when a component fails on a 15-year-old Sub-Zero, parts availability and repair costs require an experienced technician who knows these premium brands. We service all premium appliance brands throughout Canyon Lakes and South Kennewick.

Hansen Park and Columbia Center corridor. Hansen Park sits adjacent to the Columbia Center Boulevard shopping corridor — Kennewick’s commercial spine — with many recently built homes and appliances from the last 5-10 years. Newer homes in this area often have Samsung and LG appliances installed by builders. GE front-load washers in particular show a consistent inverter control board failure pattern in the first five years — a part we keep in local stock for fast same-day repair throughout the Hansen Park area.

Southridge. Kennewick’s fast-growing southern gateway — anchored by Southridge Boulevard and served by Phoenix High School — is one of the most actively developing areas in the Tri-Cities. New construction throughout Southridge means new appliances, but also builder-grade appliances chosen for cost rather than longevity. Entry-level dishwashers, front-load washers, and refrigerators from new Southridge homes generate predictable early-failure service calls that our technicians are well prepared for. Repair is almost always significantly less expensive than replacement for appliances under 5 years old.

Metaline and Columbia Park area. Metaline’s mix of midcentury and newer homes — well-positioned near Lawrence Scott Park and Columbia Park along the Columbia River — tends toward a blend of older reliable appliances and more recent replacements. Midcentury homes in Metaline often have older Whirlpool or Kenmore appliances that are simple, reliable, and inexpensive to repair when something eventually does fail. We carry parts for older appliance models that many competitors no longer stock.

Vista Field and Downtown area. The Bridge to Bridge neighborhood near downtown Kennewick — named for the Blue Bridge and the Cable Bridge spanning the Columbia River — and the developing Vista Field mixed-use district represent Kennewick’s urban core. Condominiums and smaller homes in this area often have compact or stackable washer-dryer units and apartment-size appliances that require specific expertise. We service all configurations throughout the downtown and Vista Field area.

West Kennewick and Clearwater Ave corridor. The established residential neighborhoods along West Kennewick Avenue and the Clearwater Ave corridor represent Kennewick’s mature suburban middle — a mix of homes from the 1970s through the 2000s with a wide variety of appliance brands and ages. This is where we see the most diverse service call mix — everything from aging Maytag top-loaders to newer Samsung French door refrigerators.

What Makes Kennewick Different for Appliance Repair

Extreme heat. Kennewick’s summer temperatures match the broader Columbia Basin pattern — regularly exceeding 105°F, occasionally reaching 110°F. This puts every heat-generating or heat-removing appliance under maximum thermal stress for extended periods. Refrigerator compressors work near their design limits throughout summer. Dryer thermal fuses blow in hot laundry rooms. Air conditioner capacitors fail under sustained heat load. Our technicians factor the ambient temperature environment into every diagnosis in Kennewick.

Agricultural dust and wine country particulate. Benton County’s extensive agricultural operations — and the vineyards that have made the Kennewick area part of one of Washington’s premier wine regions — produce fine particulate that accumulates in condenser coils, dryer vents, and refrigerator components faster than in cleaner-air cities. Kennewick condenser coils need cleaning every 4-6 months, not annually. We inspect and clean coils on every relevant Kennewick service call.

Brand expertise. Kennewick’s economic diversity — from Canyon Lakes professionals to Southridge working families — means the city has more variety in appliance brands and quality tiers than most similarly sized cities. Whirlpool remains the most reliable brand we service throughout Kennewick. LG refrigerators from 2012 onward have a documented compressor failure pattern we diagnose regularly. Samsung and Electrolux parts are significantly more expensive — a fact we disclose in our fixed quote so every Kennewick homeowner can make an informed decision.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you give a fixed quote before starting appliance repair in Kennewick?

Yes — always. After diagnosis your technician gives you a fixed price before any work begins. No hidden fees, no charges added later. You decide whether to proceed.

Do you offer same-day appliance repair in Kennewick?

Yes. We provide same-day appliance repair throughout all of Kennewick — Canyon Lakes, Hansen Park, Southridge, Metaline, Bridge to Bridge, Vista Field, West Kennewick, and the Columbia Center corridor — 6 days a week. Call early in the day for best availability.

Does Kennewick have hard water that damages appliances?

Less than Eastern Washington aquifer communities. Kennewick draws treated Columbia River water — considerably softer than the groundwater in hard water cities like Spokane Valley. Calcium scale damage is a lesser factor here. The dominant appliance threats in Kennewick are extreme summer heat and agricultural dust from surrounding Benton County farmland and wine country.

Do you service older midcentury appliances in Kennewick neighborhoods like Metaline?

Yes. We carry parts for older appliance models that many competitors no longer stock — older Whirlpool, Kenmore, and Maytag appliances common in Kennewick’s established neighborhoods are often the most straightforward and cost-effective repairs we perform.

Do you serve all of Kennewick including Southridge and Canyon Lakes?

Yes — all of Kennewick and the full Tri-Cities region. Our technician is based on N Columbia Center Blvd and can reach any Kennewick neighborhood quickly. We also serve Pasco, Richland, West Richland, and surrounding Benton and Franklin County communities.

How much does appliance repair cost in Kennewick?

Labor starts from $85. After diagnosis your technician provides a fixed quote — no hidden fees, no surprises.

He was able to come same day and gave us an hour window instead of 4 or 6 like other shops. He was clean, kind, professional, and very fast. He had all the parts and we are very satisfied.

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
