Appliance Repair in Bothell, WA

Bothell spans two counties — King and Snohomish — and carries that dual identity in its character. It is simultaneously a city of 53,000 where young tech professionals commute to Canyon Park Business Center’s healthcare and tech employers and live in $900K-$1.3M homes with premium appliances, and a city of classic mid-century ramblers in Maywood Hills where 1960s split-levels have been maintained by the same families for decades. The converted McMenamins Anderson School complex anchors downtown Bothell’s entertainment culture. The Beardslee Public House brews craft beer in the shadow of the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College campus. Main Street’s krō bär occupies the bones of Bothell’s historic hardware store in the Mohn building. This city has genuine character — and genuine appliance service needs across a wide economic and housing spectrum.

Adam & Sam Brothers Repair provides same-day appliance repair throughout all of Bothell — ZIP codes 98011 (downtown and west Bothell), 98012 (north Bothell), and 98021 (Canyon Park and south Bothell near Kenmore). Our Mountlake Terrace base reaches Bothell in 20-25 minutes via SR-522, with a fixed quote before we start and no hidden fees.

Bothell’s Appliance Landscape

Bothell’s housing stock creates three distinct appliance profiles that we service regularly. The Canyon Park corridor — where tech and healthcare professionals live in newer homes and townhouses near the Canyon Park Business Center and along SR-527 — has premium Samsung, LG, and Bosch appliances from the last 5-10 years, entering peak failure range for first major repairs. The established Maywood Hills and Westhill neighborhoods — with 1950s-70s ramblers and split-levels on tree-lined streets — have a mix of older reliable machines and newer replacements. And the growing Downtown Bothell apartment and condo developments near Bothell Way and Main Street — driven by the city’s urban redevelopment — have builder-grade appliances serving the young professional and student rental market near UW Bothell.

Bothell’s water, from the Cedar/Tolt River watershed, is extremely soft — essentially no hard water scale damage to dishwasher spray arms, ice maker inlet valves, or washing machine pump components. Pacific Northwest humidity creates front-load washer mold throughout Bothell as it does across the Puget Sound region. Organic debris from Bothell’s abundant tree cover — the mature firs and maples throughout Maywood Hills and Westhill — creates exterior dryer vent blockage patterns similar to Kenmore’s Inglewood neighborhood.

Bothell Neighborhoods — What We See in Each Area

Canyon Park — SR-527, 228th St SE, Canyon Park Business Center. Canyon Park is Bothell’s commercial and residential powerhouse — anchored by the Canyon Park Business Center’s tech and healthcare employers (including Premera Blue Cross, Philips, and other major employers), the Canyon Park Commons shopping area, and the residential developments that serve this employment hub. Homes here range from mid-2000s construction to new builds with $900K-$1.3M price tags. Samsung and LG appliances dominate in Canyon Park’s renovated and newer kitchens — purchased by the tech-adjacent professional households that constitute the neighborhood’s demographic core. Canyon Park is where most of our Bothell Samsung ice maker module failures, LG linear compressor diagnoses, and Bosch dishwasher E-code repairs come from.

Downtown Bothell — Main Street, Bothell Way NE, McMenamins Anderson School area. Downtown Bothell’s urban renaissance — anchored by McMenamins Anderson School Hotel’s entertainment complex, the krō bär in the historic Mohn building, Amaro Bistro along Bothell Way, The Cottage on Main Street, T55 Patisserie, and the growing restaurant and retail cluster — has brought new apartment and condo development to the city’s historic core. The newer downtown residential buildings have builder-grade appliances — GE, Whirlpool, and Frigidaire units in the apartment complexes that serve UW Bothell students, young professionals, and the downtown-oriented Bothell resident. Door latch failures, drain pump issues, and thermal fuse calls from restricted dryer vents are the standard downtown apartment appliance profile. The commercial refrigeration needs of downtown’s restaurant cluster are significant — McMenamins Anderson School alone has multiple food and beverage venues requiring reliable commercial refrigeration.

Maywood Hills — classic Bothell, 1950s-70s ramblers, tree-lined streets. Maywood Hills is where “old Bothell” lives — the neighborly, tree-lined streets with 1950s through 1970s ramblers and split-levels that feel genuinely suburban in the best sense. Homes here are spacious, lots are generous, and the community character is stable and family-oriented. Appliances in Maywood Hills span the full range of renovation cycles — some homes retain original-era appliances in remarkable working condition, others have gone through multiple renovation waves with a variety of brands and ages. Mature fir and maple trees throughout Maywood Hills create the same exterior dryer vent cap blockage problem we see in Kenmore’s Inglewood: fallen leaves, fir cones, and organic debris accumulate at exterior vent terminations seasonally. We check exterior caps on every Maywood Hills dryer call.

Westhill — larger lots, quiet streets, family-oriented. Westhill’s larger-lot homes — quieter and more spacious than Canyon Park’s denser development — have established families who have invested in quality mid-range appliances: KitchenAid, Whirlpool, and increasingly Bosch from kitchen renovations in the 2010s. KitchenAid dishwasher circulation pump failures and Whirlpool refrigerator defrost system issues are common service calls from Westhill. These are machines worth repairing — premium mid-range appliances in established family homes that are maintained by proud homeowners.

Beardslee area — UW Bothell, Cascadia College, Beardslee Blvd. The Beardslee neighborhood surrounding the University of Washington Bothell and Cascadia College campus — where Beardslee Public House & Brewery anchors the commercial scene — has the classic college-area dual profile: owner-occupied homes with quality appliances and student rental properties with high-use, low-maintenance machines. Beardslee Public House’s commercial refrigeration needs, alongside the student rental appliance calls from the surrounding streets, make the Beardslee area one of our most varied Bothell service zones.

Queensborough-Brentwood, Brickyard Road-Queensgate, Canyon Creek, Thrasher’s Corner. These established residential neighborhoods along SR-527 and the streets connecting Canyon Park to downtown Bothell have solid family housing from the 1980s-2000s. Mid-range Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore, and Samsung appliances at various ages are the profile here. Regular mechanical wear — drum rollers, igniters, compressor start relays, drain pumps — is the dominant service call from these neighborhoods. Straightforward repairs on machines that are worth fixing.

They came to fix our A/C. They accurately diagnosed and repaired our air-conditioning in less than an hour. He even cleaned the inside of the A/C and made sure no mess was left behind. Very polite and professional.

He was able to come same day and gave us an hour window instead of 4 or 6 like other shops. He was clean, kind, professional, and very fast. He had all the parts and we are very satisfied.

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
