Dryer Repair in Spokane, WA

If your dryer has stopped heating, takes too long to dry clothes, is making grinding or squealing noises, or won’t start at all — Adam & Sam Brothers Repair is ready to help the same day. We provide professional dryer repair throughout Spokane and surrounding communities including Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Millwood, Airway Heights, Cheney, and Greenacres. Our technicians arrive fully equipped and give you a fixed quote before any work begins — no hidden fees, no surprises.

Based on our experience servicing hundreds of dryers throughout Spokane, approximately 90% of all dryer problems fall into two clear categories — and both are fully repairable in a single visit. The first category is heating failures: problems with the heating element, thermal fuse, thermostat, gas igniter, or gas valve. The second category is mechanical noise issues: worn drum rollers, drum bearing, idler pulley, drive belt, or blower wheel. Our service vehicles are stocked with the most common parts for both categories — meaning in 9 out of 10 cases, our Spokane technician diagnoses the problem and completes the repair on the very first visit. No waiting on parts. No second trip. Your dryer is running again the same day.

Spokane’s dry continental climate creates a specific dryer challenge. Unlike the humid Pacific Northwest coast where moisture in the air causes lint to clump in vents, Spokane’s low humidity means lint stays dry and airborne — traveling deeper into the vent system and accumulating further from the dryer itself. This creates longer vent blockages that are harder to detect and clear. Combined with Spokane’s extreme temperature swings — from -10°F winters to 100°F+ summers — thermal fuses and heating elements in Spokane dryers face greater stress than in moderate climates. Our Spokane technicians always inspect the full vent run as part of every dryer repair visit.

We service all major dryer brands in Spokane including Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Maytag, Electrolux, Bosch, Speed Queen, Kenmore, Amana, Frigidaire, KitchenAid, and many others.

The Two Most Common Dryer Problems We Fix in Spokane

Category 1 — No Heat or Insufficient Heat (approximately 60% of all Spokane dryer calls): The most frequent dryer problem across all brands is a heating failure. On electric dryers, the culprit is almost always a burned-out heating element or a blown thermal fuse — both caused by overheating from restricted airflow or normal wear. On gas dryers, the igniter fails to glow, or the gas valve coils stop opening. In both cases our Spokane technicians carry replacement heating elements, thermal fuses, thermostats, and igniters for all major brands and complete the repair same day.

Category 2 — Loud Noises: Squealing, Thumping, or Grinding (approximately 30% of all Spokane dryer calls): The drum in your dryer rides on rollers, slides on a bearing, and is turned by a drive belt running over an idler pulley. When any of these wear out — and they do, typically after 5-10 years of regular use — your dryer starts making sounds that range from a rhythmic thumping to a high-pitched squeal or a grinding metal-on-metal sound. Our Spokane technicians replace drum rollers, drum bearings, drive belts, idler pulleys, and blower wheels — restoring quiet operation same day.

Fixed Quote Before We Start — Spokane Dryer Repair

Every dryer repair in Spokane starts the same way: your technician arrives, runs a full diagnosis, explains exactly what is wrong and what needs to be replaced, and gives you a fixed quote before touching a single part. If you agree — we fix it on the spot. If you don’t — you owe nothing when you proceed with repair. No hourly billing, no hidden fees, no charges added after the fact. Just honest dryer repair in Spokane with complete cost transparency.

Gas & Electric Dryer Repair in Spokane — All Brands

Our Spokane technicians are experienced with both gas and electric dryers across all major brands and configurations — including stackable units, front-load dryers, and washer-dryer combos. Whether your Whirlpool electric dryer’s heating element burned out, your Samsung gas dryer’s igniter failed, or your LG is throwing a D80 vent blockage error — we have the parts and expertise to fix it same day in Spokane. For all major brands we carry OEM-equivalent replacement parts that meet manufacturer specifications.

Spokane Dryer Repair Near Me — All Neighborhoods & Surrounding Areas

Adam & Sam Brothers Repair serves all of Spokane — South Perry, Five Mile Prairie, Browne’s Addition, Indian Trail, Shadle Park, Lincoln Heights, the South Hill, and the North Side — as well as Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Millwood, Airway Heights, Cheney, Otis Orchards, and Greenacres. A broken dryer in Spokane means laundry backing up fast — especially with Spokane’s cold winters making outdoor drying impossible. Call us in the morning and in most cases we can have a technician at your Spokane home the same day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you give a fixed quote before starting dryer repair in Spokane?

Yes — always. After diagnosis your technician gives you a fixed price before any work begins. No hidden fees, no charges added later. You decide whether to proceed.

Do you offer same-day dryer repair in Spokane?

Yes. We provide same-day dryer repair in Spokane 6 days a week. Call early in the day for best availability.

Can you really fix 90% of dryers in one visit?

Yes. Based on our experience servicing dryers throughout Spokane, approximately 90% of all dryer problems involve heating components (heating element, thermal fuse, thermostat, igniter) or mechanical wear parts (drum rollers, drive belt, idler pulley, drum bearing). We stock all of these parts in our service vehicles — so in 9 out of 10 cases, we diagnose and fix your Spokane dryer on the very first visit.

My dryer runs but produces no heat — what is wrong?

On electric dryers, the most common cause is a burned-out heating element or blown thermal fuse — both are straightforward same-day repairs. On gas dryers, the igniter or gas valve coils are usually at fault. All of these are among the most common parts we carry in our Spokane service vehicles.

My dryer is making a loud squealing or thumping noise — what is wrong?

Squealing usually means worn drum rollers or a failing idler pulley putting tension on the drive belt. Thumping often means worn drum support rollers or a loose drum bearing. All of these are mechanical wear parts that we replace same day in Spokane. Ignoring these sounds leads to the drum seizing and more expensive damage.

Does Spokane’s climate affect dryers differently than other cities?

Yes. Spokane’s dry continental air means lint stays dry and airborne — traveling deeper into vent systems than in humid coastal cities. Extreme temperature swings from -10°F winters to 100°F+ summers also put additional stress on thermal fuses and heating elements. Our Spokane technicians always inspect the full vent run during every dryer repair visit.

How much does dryer repair cost in Spokane?

Labor starts from $85. After diagnosis your technician provides a fixed quote — no hidden fees, no surprises.

He was able to come same day and gave us an hour window instead of 4 or 6 like other shops. He was clean, kind, professional, and very fast. He had all the parts and we are very satisfied.

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
