Ice maker repair in Olympia, WA

WA Licensed— #ADAMSBR771PL # ADAMSBR752QE REQUEST

Ice maker repair in Olympia benefits from one significant local advantage: the city’s McAllister Springs water is very soft. The calcium scale that destroys ice maker fill tubes in Eastern Washington communities within 2–3 years of installation simply doesn’t occur in Olympia. Every ice maker failure here is mechanical or electronic — the module, the inlet valve solenoid, the ice maker arm, the water filter. This generally means less complicated diagnostics and less expensive repairs than in hard-water markets. We don’t spend Olympia service calls clearing scale from fill tubes — we go straight to mechanical diagnosis.

Samsung Ice Maker Repair in Olympia

Samsung ice maker module failure is the most common ice maker call from Olympia — consistent with the large Samsung refrigerator inventory installed throughout the Eastside, Indian Summer, and Harrison Avenue corridor during the 2013–2020 renovation period. Samsung ice maker modules are expensive: $150–$200 or more depending on the specific refrigerator model. We quote the exact module cost for your Samsung before ordering anything. For Samsung units where module cost approaches replacement value, we’ll tell you honestly rather than recommending a repair that doesn’t make financial sense.

LG Ice Maker Repair in Olympia

LG ice maker failures in Olympia’s renovation-era LG French door refrigerators typically involve the ice maker arm mechanism, the module, or the inlet valve solenoid. LG modules run $80–$150 depending on the model. We are LG Factory Authorized — we carry LG-specific parts knowledge and can verify warranty status for qualifying LG units before scheduling a paid service call. For LG refrigerators with ice maker failures that are still under LG’s extended warranty period, the repair may be covered.

Whirlpool and GE Ice Makers in Olympia

The older residential stock in Capitol Hill and South Capitol runs Whirlpool and GE refrigerators with ice maker systems that develop inlet valve solenoid wear over years of use. Slow filling, partial filling, or no ice production — the solenoid mesh screen blocks with debris over time. Whirlpool and GE inlet valves run $30–$50. Fast, same-day repairs we carry parts for on the truck. These are among the most cost-effective ice maker repairs we perform.

Water Filter Maintenance in Olympia

Replace refrigerator water filters every 6 months regardless of the indicator light. Olympia’s soft water doesn’t leave mineral deposits, but Pacific Northwest ambient humidity can promote biofilm growth in aging filters — affecting ice taste even when the water source is clean. The filter indicator is not reliable for detecting biofilm. We note filter age on every ice maker call and advise replacement when overdue.

Diagnostic fee: $85 — applied toward repair cost if you proceed.

They came to fix our A/C. They accurately diagnosed and repaired our air-conditioning in less than an hour. He even cleaned the inside of the A/C and made sure no mess was left behind. Very polite and professional.

He was able to come same day and gave us an hour window instead of 4 or 6 like other shops. He was clean, kind, professional, and very fast. He had all the parts and we are very satisfied.

I am so thankful for their friendly and professional service! They were able to schedule me quickly and diagnose my fridge issues immediately! There was a delay is service only because the manufacture had their email wrong, and our compressor took awhile to ship. As soon as the compressor arrived, Adam & Sam Brothers contacted me and scheduled repair the next day. It is such a relief to find a company that is professional through & through! They did exactly what they said they were going to do and even showed up on time to do the repair! Their contact info is permanently in my phone, just in case another HVAC decides to break down! Thank you!

We are so appreciative of this company's service. I called in the morning and was satisfied knowing that someone would help us with our dryer, which was full of wet clothing and no longer heating. The window of time for expecting a technician was accurate.A technician arrived at our home after 7 (p.m.) and worked till after 9 (p.m.)He rapidly and expertly assessed the problem. He had all the needed parts with him.He worked non-stop replacing parts,he also cleaned years of built up lint in the vent hose and I am now pleased to know how to maintain that myself. The technician was pleasant, professional, efficient, and thorough,as one would expect. We did receive an email invoice with the total charge only, however, it would be helpful if they would offer an itemized invoice. In hindsight,we were probably overcharged for the completed work.We agreed to the the offered quote as it was late in the evening,he traveled far and we were pleased to have him do a great job.I highly recommend Adam & Sam brothers repair.
